HyperScript 1.7.17

Creatures that do as they are told, a camera, parties and queues, enchantments of your own, scripts that can be called from outside, and tests a script carries with it.

Added

Creatures

• make <creature> follow <who>, make <creature> walk to <location> (both need a Paper server), make <creature> stay still / move again, and make <who> ride <creature> / dismount.
• summon takes more details: invisible, and for armor stands small, marker, with arms, without gravity and without base plate, so they can be used as props.

Scenes

• move camera of player from <location> to <location> over 6 seconds, with looking at <location> if wanted, and stop camera of player. The player is put back where they stood afterwards, also if they log out in the middle.
• set border of player to 32 blocks around <location> gives one player a world border of their own (Minecraft 1.18.2 or newer); reset border of player takes it away.

Parties and queues

• invite <who> to party, accept party invite, decline party invite, leave party, remove <who> from party, disband party; the values party of <who>, party leader of <who> and party invites of <who>; and the condition player is in a party.
• on queue "duels" of 2: runs each time two players are waiting, with them in {_players}. add player to queue "duels", remove player from queue "duels", queue "duels" and player is in queue "duels" go with it.

Enchantments of your own

• enchantment lifesteal: with on hit:, on hurt: and on block break: blocks, and max level:. Items get it like any other: enchanted with lifesteal 2. Inside the blocks {_level} is the level on the item.

Web requests from outside

• on web request "/vote": runs when the server's own web address is called, with what was sent in {_body}. Off until web.server is switched on in config.yml, and it needs a token that every request has to carry.

Testing

• test "what it shows": blocks with expect <condition>, run by /hyperscript test. They run on a pretend server, so nothing they do reaches the world or the saved data.

Changed

• The words newer statements begin with (save, start, end, copy, move and the like) can still be used as the names of your own functions.
